  • This is a really nice hand tooled arena roping saddle. Shown with a black suede seat for comfort. The fit of the seat of a roping saddle usually makes a great pleasure saddle for trail riding. Laced cantle makes it easier to lift the saddle and place it on your horse. This 206 is shown with Montana Silver top quality conchos. Add some front breast collar dees, a roping pommel dee and strap, extra heavy fleece, a hoofpick holder on the flank billet, or any of the other options. The light oil color shown really makes the details of the tooling outstanding. You can even use this tooling pattern on another saddle model, if you prefer! You can give us your true inseam measurements and we can have the saddle fitted for you. This is especially handy for youth, ladies, or tall cowboys! Choose between full or regular Quarterhorse bars. This roping saddle comes with nylon girth tie straps to lay close to the horse, but can ship with leather latigos if you prefer..

  • What is a pleasure saddle, anyway? It is a saddle you expect to feel comfortable when you are in that seat for long hours at a time. The material Dakota uses for padding our Cultured Cowboy saddles is not cheap carpet foam like many of the other "value priced" saddles out there. It is a superior grade that will not compress nor deteriorate in short time. Oh yeah, and there is no pressed paper lining the skirts where leather is supposed to be. The finished top layer will not peel off, because there are not lots of 1/16 inch thin layers glued together. (beware those auction saddles!) You get real leather with Cultured Cowboy! Years from now, you will enjoy the same comfort as when the saddle was new. This one is shown with a simple spot basket print, (just enough tooling to keep the leather from curling), Montana conchos, and rust suede seat. Flip those jockeys and fenders rough side out for more security, or leave them smooth, as shown, for easier cleaning. The braided rawhide horn is there, but not so tall as to get in the way. That 5 inch cantle will help hold you in the seat on steep upgrades. The laced Cheyenne roll makes this saddle easy to handle. Comes with rear dees under the conchos, but you can easily add two more at the front corners. Want some breast collar dees? We recommend thinking about one of our better fleece options: thicker synthetic, or real sheepskin. Let us know your inseam and we will be sure that the stirrups will fit. Comes with your choice of Semi QH, QH, or Full QH bars. A flex tree is also available for this saddle. 7/8 position Stainless steel double rigging gives you loads of strength. Plenty of room in the thigh area. Life doesn't get much better than all this! Let us talk with you about your Dream Saddle!

Dakota Barrel Saddle 320Br
Our Price: $1,595.00

No. DAK-325C Barrel Racer

  • TREE: Fiberglass covered Semi-Quarterhorse bars - 5 year warranty.

  • HORN: Rawhide Braided 3 1/2" high.

  • CANTLE: 5" Rawhide Silver Laced.

  • RIGGING: SS in skirt "C" rigging.

  • STIRRUP LEATHERS: 2 1/2" with Blevins buckles.

  • STIRRUPS: 2 1/2" Rawhide Contest.

  • COLOR: Light Oiled.

  • FINISH: Basket Hand tooled around Montana Silver.

  • Our best selling barrel racing saddle, 325C, with all the features of much more expensive saddles. (And delivered for less money than you think!) This popular combination of rawhide trim on braided horn, cantle, and stirrups is always a favorite. Shown with a beautiful basket design. The seat below is green suede. Choose your seat color between shades of suede, top grain, or exotic seats. We can offer the latest in ostrich print seats, caiman alligator, or bright leathers. At first, we may wonder why anyone would want an exotic seat; but after having seen several in action, perhaps it is the excitement of "new", but riders do well in them! AJ Garafolio says a full quill ostrich seat will hold you just right. For those who prefer the traditional, this saddle is built on a semi-quarterhorse frame. If your horse requires, it can be built on a full quarterhorse tree. If you like high tech, it is available with a full flex tree. Although we have been racing on semi bars for 50 years, many people feel an advantage in the flex tree on a gymkhana saddle. Could cut split-seconds that make you money! The skirts are square which makes this a good all around ladies rodeo choice. Gives a horse lots of freedom, and has a little more lateral stability than the rounded choice. In-skirt rigging lays close to the horse, so does your leg. Stirrup leathers are designed to give you much freedom of movement when needed. PLEASE, call us with your true inseam. Stand flat on the floor with no boots on. Measure from your crotch to the floor. That is the inseam we need...not necessarily your jean size! This way, the legging system can be built to fit your needs. There is nothing worse than having to cut down the fenders and jockey after you get your saddle. Let us get it right for you at the start. Conchos with dees allow you to put those strings on for the trail ride, and take 'em off for the arena work. People usually like the feel of this deep seat on long rides. This barrel racer saddle is a great NBHA prospect as well as NHSRA. Great for youth, or adult sizes, especially, when jockey and fender are turned rough side out. Oh yeah, you can reverse the leather for a rough-out finish, or half breed finish, with no extra charges! Shown in light oil, you can choose from light oil, golden brown, mahogany, pro brown, or black. Most riders opt for our thicker bottom fleece option. We have seen other companies offering a felt bottom on barrel racers. Cultured Cowboy can even get felt for you!WEIGHT: approx 30 lbs.
